JIZAN, 26 August — A newly-wed couple perished on a road in Ahd Al-Masariha on Friday, three days after their marriage, Okaz reported yesterday. The brother and sister of the bridegroom, who were traveling with the couple, miraculously escaped with only minor injuries, the paper said. The accident occurred while they were traveling to Jizan Corniche to have a picnic and their car was hit by a pickup. Meanwhile, two passengers killed and 29 were injured when two buses collided on Arar-Refha Road yesterday. All the injured passengers have been admitted to Arar Central Hospital, a civil defense officer said.
