JEDDAH, 28 August — Egyptian security officers have found two missing Saudi girls, aged 17 and 18, in Alexandria, Al-Riyadh Arabic newspaper reported. According to the police, the health of the girls was very bad as they have been sleeping on the road and begging. “It was difficult to recognize them at the beginning and only after talking to them did we discover that they were indeed the missing Saudi girls,” the police said. The girls have been handed over to their father by the Saudi Embassy in Cairo. Egyptian police had mounted a massive search for the girls in Cairo and Alexandria. The girls told the police that they disappeared because they did not want to live with their parents and wanted to stay in Egypt until they had completed their studies.
