JEDDAH, 31 August — The Jeddah Municipality is studying prospects of imposing fines on those who paste advertisements in public places. Its health and environment safety department has already started a campaign to put an end to the practice of writing on walls and pasting advertisement materials in public places. It has already removed such ads from 400 places in various parts of the city. Ahmad Al-Ghamdi, head of public relations, confirmed that there is a study which proposed to impose fines on those who post such ads without permission.
