RIYADH, 3 October — Suleiman ibn Abdullah Al-Qadi, executive president of the Saudi Electricity Company, signed yesterday a SR180 million contract to install a 380/132 KV high-tech switching station to the east of Riyadh city with a company specialized in electrical installations. The facility aims at strengthening the main network and feeder sources of power in the east and center of the city, where the demand for electricity has increased considerably, Al-Qadi said.
