ABHA, 20 October — The Presidency for Girls’ Education is expected to take strong action against a female school director and a teacher after it was reported that the teacher had written on the face of a student an unbecoming remark because she had not brought her homework. The incident took place at a school in Tabab, 17 km west of Abha. The school director initially failed take any action against the teacher. A panel is looking into the case. Both the director and teacher face either a salary cut or a disciplinary transfer.
