JUBAIL, 29 October — The Jubail municipality has warned the public against buying sick goats and sheep from the local markets. The traders have been reportedly trying to cheat customers by inter-mingling the sick animals among the healthy ones, the municipal officials said. However, the officials have been organizing repeated inspections in cattle pens to identify the sick animals and kill them immediately. The officials also fear that some unscrupulous traders plan to sell the sick animals in the holy month of Ramadan when the demand will be very high.
