JEDDAH, 8 November — The Ministry of Health has signed contracts with 4,140 doctors from Pakistan to work in the Kingdom. “The Kingdom’s embassy in Islamabad is currently preparing the required visas for the doctors and their families. One thousand have already been completed,” Abdul Naser Al-Harthy, a senior consular official at the embassy, was quoted as saying by Al-Riyadh newspaper. The mission is processing more than 1,500 other visas of various types every day, mostly Umrah visas but also work and visit visas. Two hundred visas will also be issued to the Bin Laden Company to recruit Pakistani laborers to work at the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah from this month until the end of the Haj.
