JEDDAH, 12 November — Four teenagers were killed in an accident on King’s Street here last Thursday. Their speeding car hit an electricity pole after the driver lost control, Al-Jazirah newspaper reported yesterday. Three of them died on the spot, while the fourth died from his injuries in hospital. Meanwhile, the Okaz daily reported yesterday that the Kingdom was ranked third of the 23 countries that took part in an international film competition on road safety in Tunis recently. The Kingdom has produced several films to enlighten the public on the importance of traffic safety during the first and second phases of the traffic safety campaigns, said Col. Amin Abdul Hameed Saeed, head of the central information committee of the public security department.
