QASSIM, 16 November — Municipal officials in Unaiza, a town in the central region of the Kingdom, arrested seven laborers preparing sambosa, a special Ramadan dish, near a garbage dumping center. The workers, who were not observing required hygiene standards, were employed by a restaurant. Officials also found an unlicensed slaughterhouse on the restaurant’s premises. It was closed and its owner was fined SR9,500.
