MAKKAH, 17 November — A Saudi has decided to take legal action against the Traffic Department for towing his car which was parked in front of his house at Awali district in the holy city, Al-Madinah reported yesterday. "The Saudi was looking for his car for the past one year. Finally, he found the car in a compound in Muaisem" — where the Traffic Department keeps cars of those who violate parking rules, the paper said. The Saudi said department officials prevented him from taking the car, saying that it would be sold at a public auction as its owner had remained unidentified. However, after the story was reported by newspapers, an official source said that the traffic department in Makkah will look into the case again.
