RIYADH, 24 November — Officials of the commerce ministry confiscated in the past three months SR552,000 worth of pirated software and hardware from Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam in operations aimed at combating the software piracy and protection of intellectual rights in the Kingdom. The software and computers seized from the Riyadh were worth SR246,000 while the seized articles from the Eastern Province were worth SR100,000 and products seized from Jeddah were worth SR204,000.
