RIYADH, 2 December — Prince Alwaleed ibn Talal will build 50 new mosques in various parts of the Kingdom. He has already funded the construction of 39 mosques, his company said yesterday. The new mosques will cost around SR34 million ($9.1 million), said a statement by the Kingdom Holding Co. Eighteen of the mosques will be built in Riyadh, nine in Asir, five in Makkah and three in Madinah, it said.
