RIYADH, 6 December — An international flight and two domestic flights were delayed because of an unexpected power failure at King Khaled International Airport between 1.45 a.m. and 3 a.m. Tuesday. The security check-in was suspended and passengers were not allowed to enter the departure lounge at that time. The situation created a great deal of confusion at the airport. The airport administration did not give any explanation for the incident. The power failure was also experienced in some eastern districts in Riyadh. (SH)
