RIYADH, 15 December — A new business manual titled "Foreign Companies in Saudi Arabia 2001" has been published by the London-based Commercial Intelligence Service (CIS) — a division of the Business Monitor International Ltd. The directory lists 7,500 top decision-makers working with 2,600 foreign companies and joint ventures in the Kingdom.

"This is the first business directory of its kind offering direct access to a powerful peer group of senior key contacts, potential customers, suppliers and competitors of Saudi Arabia," said CIS Marketing Manager Sarah Bennett.

She said the manual and the accompanying CD-ROM provide information such as addresses of the companies, ownership structure, product details and brands.

The directory, classified into 32 major categories, also lists names and addresses of the senior officials and contact personnel of the companies. CIS has been providing data on emerging markets, banks, research centers and governments in more than 125 countries over the past 16 years.
