RIYADH, 22 January — Deputy Governor of Riyadh, Prince Sattam, will attend today a prize-distribution function of the Disabled Children’s Association at the headquarters of the charity here. The SR50,000 prize for humanitarian services will be awarded to Maha bint Ahmad Al-Juffali, president of Al-Aun Center and the prize for research on specialist education to Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Sartawi, professor of special education at the University of United Arab Emirates. Dr. Bynar Ozand of the children’s department in the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center will be awarded the prize for his research in medical sciences. The prizes aim to encourage charitable activities, and particularly to help disabled children in the Kingdom. (SPA)
