RIYADH, 31 January — The Saudi Telecom Company collected SR19 million in back payments in 2001 through an intensive drive to recover unpaid bills that ran into billions of riyals. The sum includes charges for all services except that of mobile phones. The total arrears reached SR3.3 billion at the end of 2000.
