RIYADH, 4 February — A high-level delegation led by Minister of Commerce Osama Faqeeh will leave for Iran today to attend the meeting of the Saudi-Iranian Joint Economic Commission. The two-day meeting will begin tomorrow in Tehran with renewed commitments from the two countries to forge closer economic ties. The two sides are likely to work out a common program for consolidating relations in commercial sector, Iranian diplomats here said yesterday. Faqeeh will be accompanied by officials drawn from the ministries of industry and electricity, agriculture and water, civil aviation, and the interior as well as the King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology.
