MINA, 27 February — It was a case of double bliss for this Indonesian couple. After performing Haj just recently, Akwan Noon, 34, and Afrina, 28, got married in a holy place. An Al-Riyadh reporter, who attended what is claimed to be the first marriage here during the annual pilgrimage, said it was the couple’s cherished desire to go through the marriage ceremony in one of the holy places in the Kingdom. “We’re both happy that we fulfilled our dream. We decided to marry on the second day of Eid Al-Adha because that happens to be my birthday,” the groom remarked happily.
