JEDDAH, 13 March — The board of executive directors of the Islamic Development Bank concluded a meeting here Monday and approved new finances worth $436 million in favor of a number of countries and Muslim communities. IDB President Dr. Ahmad Muhammad Ali said the bank will give $79.2 million for 10 development projects in nine member states. The meeting allocated $353.5 million for import and trade financing. Special allocations were made to finance projects of Muslim communities in Eritrea, the Philippines, Ghana, Russia, Switzerland and the United States.
