RIYADH, 18 March — Registration for the Femas Cup 2002 has been extended until March 29, the general secretariat of the Federation of Maranao Associations in Saudi (Femas) in Riyadh has announced. The games, which consists of three tournaments. The basketball tournament, of which Shakba International is the defending champion, opens on April 4. This will be followed by a volleyball tournament (defending champion: PBBA), which will start right after the first one. It will be followed by a tennis tournament. Datu Saleh Ampaso Bucay, the incumbent Femas secretary-general, clarified that the competition is open only to Maranao teams. Bucay offered his apologies to those who have asked to participate and were turned down.
