KOZHIKODE, 23 March — The Airport Authority of India is planning to construct two aerobridges as Air India’s international flights from the Calicut airport will be increased to 36 from next week. An expert team headed by AAI General Manager SK Gupta visited the airport on Thursday in connection with setting up night landing facility. Gupta told the Malabar Chamber of Commerce officials that the arrival area would be extended to the canopy sector immediately to ease the traffic, as the expansion work will take two to three years.
