JIZAN, 28 March — A Saudi teenager in the southern city of Jizan, who was not mentally sound, jumped off the terrace of his house holding a rope, imitating an Arab movie star, Al-Riyadh Arabic newspaper reported. The paper said Saud Oqail Hashim, 20, escaped death even though the rope had tightened around his neck during the jump. The teenager, who was found hanging on the rope, was rescued and immediately taken to hospital.
