JEDDAH, 9 April — A new course on Islamic art and interior decoration will be offered by the Continuing Professional Education and Community Service Center at Effat College for six weeks from April 13. Workshops will enable students to develop new, modern approaches to both art forms. It will be run by Afaf Badran, who has 22 years of experience in the field. “Our students will acquire the knowledge and enhance their tastes so that they will be able to redesign their own interiors,” said Badran.” The course, for a total of 36 hours, will be conducted three hours daily, two days a week.
