JEDDAH, 15 April — Prince Sultan, the second deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, has donated SR5 million to a new center for Islamic studies and research set up by the Muslim World League in Makkah to help spread Islam. MWL Secretary-General Dr. Abdullah ibn Abdul Mohsen Al-Turki said the league at the end of a general conference last week attended by Muslim scholars from all over the world has set up King Abdul Aziz Center for Islamic Research. The center seeks to spread the message of Islam, work for the development of philanthropic organizations and contribute to the welfare of Muslim minorities and societies, especially refugees and orphans.
