JEDDAH, 22 April — A convoy of more than 30 trucks will leave Jeddah on May 1 for the Palestinian territories and the Red Crescent Society there. "We are collecting clothes, shoes and toys as part of this great humanitarian effort," said Tarek Dajani, one of the organizers of the convoy. He urged citizens and expatriates to send unwanted clothing which could be used by the Palestinian population brutalized by the latest round of Israeli aggression.
