BURAIDAH, 16 May — Education Minister Dr. Muhammad Al-Rasheed has approved the establishment of 10 new schools in Qassim, according to Saleh Abdullah Al-Tuwaijri, the general director of education in the region.
Al-Tuwaijri pointed out that the new schools comprise two at the secondary, three at the intermediate and five at the elementary level.
“Of the 10 schools, seven will be established in Buraidah,” he explained. “These schools will be open from the beginning of the next academic year.”
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education has made necessary preparations for the upcoming annual examinations, scheduled to begin Kingdomwide on May 25.
Supervisors from the department will visit schools to follow up preparations for the examinations, a source at the educational directorate in Qassim said.
“Doctors belonging to the ministry will also conduct visits to schools during the examinations,” he added.
