RIYADH, 20 May — Dr. Hamad Al-Manie, director of health in the Riyadh region, has estimated the losses caused by a massive fire that gutted the department’s warehouse in Shifa on Thursday at SR2.3 million. The fire, caused by the burning of some medical solutions, had swallowed one of 10 stores at the warehouse, he said. Riyadh Governor Prince Salman has donated a 50,000 square meter plot to construct a new warehouse.
