JEDDAH, 25 May — Tamer medical company, agent of Schering-Plough in the Kingdom, has said it has not imported any products from the US firm’s factories in New Jersey and Puerto Rico. “We import from Schering-Plough’s factories in Canada, Ireland and Belgium,” an official source of Tamer told Arab News. The statement comes after Schering-Plough agreed to pay $500 million in fines to the US federal government for quality violations by its factories in New Jersey and Puerto Rico. — Yasser Rasheed
