JEDDAH, 1 June — A “Tradition of hundred years” was the theme of an exhibition of photographs opened by Turkish Consul General Hasan Aygun Baskonsolos at Jeddah International Exhibition & Convention Center on Thursday. The show focused on Hamidiye spring water, which is being operated by the Istanbul metropolitan municipality in Turkey.

The event was part of the Food Arabia expo, which concluded on Thursday night after a five-day run. Turkey had the largest country pavilion at the show in which 350 companies from 24 countries took part. “Hamidiye is the world’s pioneer in producing natural spring water with fluoride that prevents tooth decay, and 50 percent of the output is exported,” Baskonsolos said while opening the exhibition.
