JEDDAH, 2 June — Makkah Governor Prince Abdul Majeed yesterday received Obaidullah Al-Qurashi, a Saudi who pardoned the killer of his son, and commended Al-Qurashi’s gesture. The function was attended by Dr. Nasir Al-Zahrani, chairman of the committee for pardon and reconciliation in the region. Al-Zahrani told the governor that his committee was successful in cordially settling a number of family disputes. Prince Abdul Majeed also met with members of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and discussed the chamber’s future programs.
