RIYADH, 5 June — Sheikh Saleh ibn Humeid, chief of the Shoura Council, left for Colombo yesterday at the head of a 27-member delegation, which is expected to hold wide-ranging talks with senior Sri Lankan officials including President Chandrika Kumaratunga. The talks will focus on bilateral relations, cooperation in parliamentary affairs and issues of interests to Muslims. "The visit of Saudi delegation comprising 14 Shoura members to Sri Lanka will open a new chapter in our bilateral relations," said Sri Lankan Ambassador Ibrahim Sahib Ansar.
