RIYADH, 9 June — Prince Sultan, second deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, who is also the chairman of the board of directors of the Supreme Commission for Tourism, will preside over the board’s fifth meeting in Jeddah today. In a press statement yesterday, Prince Sultan ibn Salman, secretary general of the commission, said the implementation of the first stage of the project of developing the national tourism will be discussed at the meeting. Prince Sultan and Yemeni Premier Abdul Qader Bajammal will co-chair next Saturday a meeting of the Saudi-Yemeni Coordination Council, also to be held here. In the two-day meeting, the prince and Bajammal will discuss a number of issues related to the cooperation between the two countries in various fields. They are also expected to exchange documents on the mutually approved agreement particularly pertaining to travels and freight transport and shipping. (SPA)
