JEDDAH, 16 June — A total of 893 boys and girls from various parts of the Kingdom will take part in 22 summer training programs for gifted students. Organized by King Abdul Aziz & his Companions Foundation for the Gifted, the programs will be held in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam.
Saleh ibn Muhammad Al-Saab, director of the scientific section at the foundation, said the programs, which started yesterday, will continue for four weeks. “There are various programs aimed at developing the students’ inborn capabilities,” he added.
Saad Al-Amir, director of educational programs, said the students attending programs have scored high marks in academic subjects. They were selected after conducting special talent tests, he added.
