RIYADH, 21 July — The General Organization for Grain Silos and Flour Mills announced yesterday that it had started paying SR1.237 billion in dues of wheat and barley farmers. Saleh Al-Suleiman, director general of the organization, said it was issuing checks to nearly 15,000 farmers in various parts of the country. The farmers who supplied up to 100 tons of grains will receive their full payment. Those who supplied up to 300 tons will get 50 percent; up to 500 tons 30 percent; and more than 500 tons 20 percent of their dues, he explained. (SPA)
