JEDDAH, 12 August — Prince Faisal ibn Khaled said the recently-released biography of King Khaled is the "most comprehensive book on the reign of our late father."

Prince Faisal said this while addressing a press conference here. He also launched a website for the book, titled Khaled Ibn Abdul Aziz—Biography of a King and Renaissance of a Kingdom.

He said that it took seven years for the author, Ahmad ibn Zaid Al-Dajaani, to collect documents and photos for the book. It will be translated into English and French within six months.

He said another book on King Khaled, written by Badr ibn Ahmad Kuraim, would be launched in six months

The 625-page biography deals with the personality of King Khaled, his domestic and foreign policies, his relations with the Saudi people and officials and his visits to Arab, Islamic and friendly countries.

The book also focuses on the attention and support extended by the late King Khaled to the Palestinian cause.

The book’s preface is written by Prince Sultan, second deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation. (SPA)
