RIYADH, 10 September — Dr. Saleh Humaid, Chairman of the Shoura Council, held a meeting here yesterday with Dr. Najma Heptullah, chairperson of Inter Parliamentary Union (IPU). Dr. Humaid said Saudi Arabia’s admission to IPU would have a positive effect on the union because of the Kingdom’s political weight in the Arab and Muslim World. The meeting was attended by a number of officials and Shoura Council members. (SPA)
