ABHA, 19 September — A Saudi convicted of murdering a woman compatriot was executed in the southwestern province of Asir yesterday, the Interior Ministry announced.
“Mohammad ibn Salim ibn Mesheeal Al-Harithi stabbed to death Ghalia bint Mefreh ibn Salim Al-Harithi after a dispute with her son,” the ministry said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency.
The ministry said the killer was arrested, sentenced to death and executed at Bisha in Asir Province.
