ALKHOBAR, 7 October — FedEx in the Kingdom has agreed to collect marked US absentee ballots and send them at no charge via its express mail service to the United States. FedEx will deliver the completed ballots to the US Postal Service for onward posting to the local voting offices in the various states. To guarantee delivery prior to the elections, voted absentee ballots can be deposited with FedEx until Oct. 31 at the following three locations: Dabab Street Office, Riyadh, Al Amir Fahd Street, Jeddah, and Alkhobar Highway Office, Dammam. In addition, the US Embassy and US Consulates General in Jeddah and Dhahran also will accept completed ballots for mailing to the US via the APO mail system.
