JEDDAH, 22 October — Jeddah Governor Prince Mishaal ibn Majed said the traffic accident injuring Deputy Libyan Consul Saad Abu Zuraik was not deliberate. "There was no criminal motive behind the accident," the governor told Okaz newspaper. The accident was caused by an 18-year-old Yemeni as a result of reckless driving. The Libyan diplomat was taken to King Faisal Specialist Hospital soon after the accident and his condition is stable, the paper said.
