RIYADH, 22 October — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd has urged the United States to support the Palestinians to regain their lands and establish an independent state. King Fahd called on the "United States and the international community to support the Palestinian people until they regain their looted rights and establish their independent state," the Saudi Press Agency said. The king made the call during a meeting on Sunday with US Assistant Secretary of State William Burns, who delivered a message from President George W. Bush, the agency said.
