WASHINGTON, 16 November 2002 — Prince Abdullah ibn Faisal, governor of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA), has underlined the importance of Saudi-American relations. “We should not let the issue of terrorism undermine the deep-rooted Saudi-American relations,” he said. He told a reception held in his honor by the Council of the Saudi-American Trade here on Thursday night that a SAGIA delegation’s current visit to the US had yielded positive results. Prince Abdullah reiterated the Kingdom’s keenness to further enhance its economic relations with the US, and urged American businessmen to benefit from the investment opportunities available in the Kingdom.
