DAMMAM, 28 November 2002 — The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowment, Call and Guidance has ordered all charitable organizations involved in dawa activities to select carefully their preachers being sent on assignments abroad. They should be trained properly and should be capable of understanding the sensibilities of the people amidst whom they would work, the ministry said in a statement. It said the preachers should be able to take the Islamic message in an exemplary manner avoiding any kind of confrontation with the local people.
