JEDDAH, 5 December 2002 — Internet connection will be available free of charge in the Kingdom in a few months, Al-Madinah newspaper reported yesterday quoting an informed source. The King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), which controls Internet service in the Kingdom, will abolish the fee it charges from service providers, the source said. Most countries in the region offer free Internet service.
