DHAHRAN, 12 December 2002 — Prince Sultan, second deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, is scheduled to open the second armed forces exhibition at the King Abdul Aziz Air Force Base here today. The event will include naval displays and parachute jumping. The prince will also open the new outpatient clinics at the base’s hospital here. He will also open the sixth congress of Saudi engineers at the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. Over 1,500 engineers and experts will participate in the four-day meet. Meanwhile, Prince Sultan and Sheikh Salman ibn Hamad, Bahrain’s Heir Apparent and Commander-in-Chief of the Defense Forces, arrived here to greet armed forces personnel on the occasion of Eid. (SPA)
