New research from Gartner shows that Microsoft Business Solutions “experienced an increase in overall market share” in 2002, and internal company data shows that the company is continuing to win business from competitors in the Middle East in 2003.
MS Business Solutions has now launched Great Plains 7.5. Businesses can use this new version of Great Plains to support critical processes while taking a collaborative approach to information management. Great Plains 7.5 helps businesses improve efficiency and profitability and respond more rapidly to customer demands with tools that address real-world challenges in the areas of financials, supply-chain management, project management and analytics.
“The market in the Middle East is maturing, with more mid-sized and corporate businesses increasing their investment in technology to support their expansion plans. Executives within the company predict that Microsoft Business Solutions — Great Plains 7.5 will exceed the sales and revenue targets set for previous launches in the region.

To help clients make the move to Great Plains 7.5 with minimum fuss, Microsoft Business Solutions is providing extensive training sessions for its network of partners, in additional to supporting user groups and providing online support assistance and tools. The company will also unveil a road show program for the Middle East, coupled with one-on-one meetings with existing and potential customers.
