JEDDAH, 9 October 2003 — A Malaysian food festival opened at the Al-Bilad Golden Tulip Hotel on Tuesday night. The festival, which runs until Oct. 19, features authentic Malaysian food created by three chefs from the Swiss Garden Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Malaysian Acting Consul General Mohamed Fuad Mat Sari, who inaugurated the event, said his country was becoming a favored destination among Saudi families and businessmen.
