JEDDAH, 26 October 2003 - The holy month of Ramadan, when Muslims fast from dawn to dusk, begins tomorrow, the Supreme Judiciary Council announced yesterday. "Since no sighting of the Ramadan crescent was reported on Saturday evening, Sunday will be the 30th of Shaaban and Monday (Oct. 27) will be the first day of Ramadan," the council said, and extended its Ramadan greetings to Muslims all over the world.
