MAKKAH, 30 October 2003 — The Makkah Municipality has completed work on parking spaces at the entrances to the holy city. The spaces will be utilized during the month in an effort to decrease traffic congestion in Makkah. Pilgrims will park their cars in the parking spaces and the municipality will provide transportation to and from the Holy Mosque.
