SANAA, 6 November 2003 — A Yemeni who was imprisoned for five years in Bosnia on charges of belonging to the Al-Qaeda terror network has returned to his country, the ruling General People’s Congress said here yesterday.
“Bosnian authorities have accused Nabil Ali Al-Hila of taking part in bomb attacks in Bosnia ... since then the Yemeni government has spared no effort to free him,” said the GPC in a statement posted on its website.
Al-Hila returned to Aden on Monday, the statement said without providing further details.
