NEW DELHI, 15 November 2003 — In yet another breakthrough in the Madhumita Shukla murder case, the Central Bureau of Investigation yesterday recovered the weapon with which the poetess was murdered. Bureau sources said the weapon, a country-made revolver, and bloodstained clothes of the murderers were recovered from Kallu Tiwari’s house in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh at the instance of Prakash Chander Pandey, the alleged killer of Madhumita. Pandey was arrested Nov. 10. The sources said police were looking for more people involved in the murder.
